This is a citysync app that displays the farmer's markets that are closest to the user as well as the produce that is currently in season. It uses pictures released under creative commons to give an attractive visual presentation of produce that is available at markets.

The app is for both residents and vendors at farmer's markets.
Who and what will be impacted by the app, and how?: 
It is to help people find markets and be aware of what is available. It is also a vehicle for vendors to market produce.
What is the specific need that is addressed by the app?: 
Raise awareness of all the great farmer's markets in the city. The app includes the official market's at PSU, Buckman and other locations, but also covers the market's that are organized by others.
Anticipated usage of the app (by whom, under what circumstances, etc)?: 
By residents looking for farmer's markets and information about what produce is in season. By vendors who are interested in selling more produce at the market.
How is information presented, that's not presented elsewhere; how is it unique?: 
These markets are listed on the farmer's market website, but it doesn't
Which, if any, community datasets are used?: 
The farmer's market information is from a USDA dataset from data.gov.
