Captcha text is barely legible if legible at all.
I think it's a great idea to keep track of these crimes in a database and then release it to those who need to refer to it for some reason. I haven't downloaded this dataset yet, but I'm sure it will come in handy. I noticed that stolen property is included in this... does this include digital property and trademark infringement? I will have to download it and take a look.
Sorry I have not checked this site in some time to see who was using this information and toward what purpose. The Stolen Property question that you had, the individual would have to have reported that crime, a report made, and has a Reported Date that falls within this dataset. Stolen Property, or the offense 13, is more about either the selling/buying/possession of property that was reported as stolen. Where a Larceny may be the theft of such item
Thanks
Thanks to Joe Dunn for providing his own coordinate conversion of this dataset. I've uploaded my own (pubic domain) version of the current dataset where the the HARN 83 state plane coordinates are converted to WGS84 Latitude/Longitude: http://www.opengeocode.org/cude/civicapps/civicapps.crime_incident_data_2010.csv
thank you
