Advise the Parking Patrol Office of illegaly parked cars by providing a GPS tagged photo of the car from a smartphone.

  • Must show readable license plate of vehicle
  • Should show nature of offense (i.e. sign, painted curb, etc.)

Thanks. Please note the City of Portland's mobile app, PDX Reporter, supports reporting of illegally parked vehicles.

I KINDA like the idea, but someone just snitched on a friend of mine for not having a front plate on their van, which doesn't even drive right now. They're unemployed and on food stamps, just trying to get by, and HOPING to get the van running soon. Now? New plates cost $40, the ticket, $55. But they'll just end up going to court to plead their case, because they haven't got a dime. That'll probably cost more than what the fine netted the city, and at what benefit to the public? Until the justice system is perfect in its compassion, and people aren't struggling to get by, enforcement of parking isn't my chief concern.

The overall idea is really good enough. I think in this way the public safety will be possible in much efficient manner. You should keep sharing such ideas so that a better output could be generated in this regard. Looking forward for more stuff 360 honda
