Please add support for HTTPS to the TriMet API. As it is, my TriMet trip planning requests can be read by anyone on the same wireless network (e.g., everybody else at a coffee house or my hotel). The info in the request can reveal when I'll be away from my home, and when I'll be standing alone at a bus stop. Adding support for HTTPS to the TriMet API would fix these security problems. Thanks!

An important part of the mission to make public data accessible is making it accessible in a secure way. This is especially true for applications that potentially reveal the whereabouts of the user. Adding HTTPS support is a simple and necessary change.
